General Terms and Conditions for All Competitions
THE PROMOTER
The Promoter of this Promotion is Trend Tool Technology Ltd, Unit 6, Odhams Trading Estate, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD24 7TR and the Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
This competition is run by Trend Tool Technology Ltd. The competition is open to residents of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Any participants must be aged 18 years or over, and, if they are a winner, must provide photographic evidence of their passport or driving license, that verifies their age.
Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of their group companies, or their families or households, or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
By entering any of these competitions or prize draws, winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material on our website, email or social channels, as well as any of the content provided on entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Trend Tool Technology and not to any other party.
The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to disqualify participants who it considers not to have complied with any of these terms and conditions or, any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion.
The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims and entries including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of a participant and before accepting a claim or entry as being valid.

HOW TO ENTER & THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES
To enter you must make a purchase of a Trend product via the Trend website https://www.trend-uk.com or at any Trend retailer and enter the prize draw, uploading your reciept or order confirmation as proof of purchase in the same calendar month. There is no entry fee to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are found via https://www.trend-uk.com/golden-ticket. Only one entry will be accepted per person, per month. The closing time for entries will be 11.59pm on the last day of each month running each month of 2025. Entries received after this time will not be eligible for entry.

Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is £500 to spend on Trend Tools via the Trend website - https://www.trend-uk.com in the form of credit onto a registered account.
Winners must have or create an account on the Trend website to receive the account credit.
The winner will be randomly drawn by Trend from all qualifying entries received each month. By entering this competition you agree to your name being used in subsequent communications about the comeptition and any remaining prize draws and in general to celebrate activity during our 70th year celebrations on our website, emails and social channels.
The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If they cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
This Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. By participating the participants agree that any and all disputes regarding this Promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English court
The prizes are only available to be won by residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and Northern Ireland.
In the event that a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize in the time required the winner shall forfeit their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to any other participant of the Promotion in accordance with promotion terms and conditions, above.
The prize is not for re-sale nor is it transferable to another individual. If a winner does not wish to retain their prize, the prize must be returned to the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another participant in accordance promotion terms and conditions, above. To enter you must be the first person present at the store given in the clues each at the time of submission. The first correctly received entry via the prescribed data entry process will be deemed the winner. There is no entry fee to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. To enter you must complete our entry form, sharing your story about a specific decade via the Trades of the Decades page on the Trend website https://www.trend-uk.com/trades-of-the-decades, in the relevant calendar month to the decade In the connection. There is no entry fee to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are found via https://www.trend-uk.com/trades-of-the-decades. Only one entry will be accepted per person, per month and the decade connections must be different and relevant to that decade. The closing time for entries will be 11.59pm on the last day of each month running each month of 2025. Entries received after this time will not be eligible for entry.
The monthly schedule is as follows:
February - 1950s; March - 1960s; April - 1970s; May - 1980s; June - 1990s; July - 2000s; August - 2010s; September - 2020s; October - Semi Finals; November - Finals
Your story/connection must be relevant to the month/decade combination it is submitted on. Any entries received in the wrong month/decade combination will not be counted and are not eligible for entry. Examples of connections could be the decade you: were born; undertook a specific project (that you share detilas of); went to college/trained for your trade; started work; brought your first router or power tool etc and many more. We will appreciate creativity for a genuinely good unique connection but anything too tenuous may be discounted.
